Get ready for a whole new way to experience netball as FIRE5 comes to Auckland for the first time.
Taking place at The Trusts Arena on 26–27 September 2026, FIRE5 brings a fast-paced, high-energy 5-a-side format designed to push the game forward and put athletes, entertainment and fans at the centre of the action.
With 21-minute matches made up of three 7-minute thirds, there’s no time to settle in. Expect fast rotations, high pressure, big plays and non-stop action.
And there’s plenty to play for, with $50,000 in prize money up for grabs. The winner takes home $25,000, with $10,000 for second place, $3,000 for third, and $1,000 each for fourth through eighth. There are also bonus events including The Last Blaze, a 60-metre sprint, and The Hot Minute, a 60-second shooting challenge.
Whether you’re on court or in the stands, FIRE5 is bringing a fresh energy to the game.
