Bring It Home

Gumboot Friday World Record Attempts
Finland has held the gumboot-throwing world records for nearly 30 years. Now, it’s time to bring them home to Aotearoa! 🥾
Join us at The Trusts Arena on Friday 6 November for BRING IT HOME, Gumboot Friday’s mission to bring the world records back to New Zealand.
Featuring Olympians, champion athletes and familiar Kiwi faces, this exciting event will see the squad take on the record throws, with plenty of fun for the whole whānau.
Come along to cheer on the competitors, enjoy DJ entertainment, grab some food and coffee, and have a go yourself! Public and junior gumboot-throwing opportunities will be available on the day.
Every throw has a bigger purpose: supporting Gumboot Friday’s mission to provide free and timely counselling for young Kiwis aged 5–25.
Can we bring those records home? Come along and be part of the action!
