Marcus Reynolds Announced as New Chief Executive Officer at The Trusts Arena

The Waitakere City Stadium Trust – The Trusts Arena is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcus Reynolds as our Permanent Chief Executive Officer from 7th July 2025.

Marcus Reynolds was most recently the CEO of Rugby Victoria, creating a new delivery model, prior to this Marcus was CEO of Forest Green Rovers Football Club in England which he joined from SkyCity Entertainment Group as Head of Host responsibility. This followed his time as CEO Tennis Auckland and The ASB Classic.

Marcus brings a strong blend of commercial and community leadership experience as a CEO with a proven track record in complex and high-pressure situations, as our Trusts Arena moves into a more challenging economic and competitive landscape.

Our Board appreciates and thanks the great work and support of Lynette Adams, who joined us in March as our Interim CEO. Lynette has provided calm and steady leadership, strengthening our local community network and connecting many through our 20th Anniversary Celebration in April.

Last month our team seamlessly delivered 5 events in 6 days in our Arena– starting with Eid al-Adha celebrations, followed by the World Elder Abuse Expo, our Mystics competition game, then School Zone Basketball followed by the Hybrid Minds concert – displaying our versatility and ability to deliver commercial and community events as needed by our people.
