The original “Bad Boys of Reggae” INNER CIRCLE make their la-la-la long awaited return to Aotearoa this Autumn, bringing their 55 years of hits to Trusts Arena in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Grammy Award winners and very much founding fathers of the quintessential reggae and dub sound, Inner Circle formed in Kingston in 1968 before joining with successful solo artist Jacob Miller in 1976 and writing countless successful hits including “Sweat (A La La La La Long)” and “Bad Boys” as well as a plethora of hit covers including “Young, Wild & Free”, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” and “Every Little Thing”.
Headlining Woodstock, writing music for blockbuster Hollywood films and pioneering reggae music to the forefront of the world stage, INNER CIRCLE have done it all and Endeavour Live & Mai FM are delighted to be bringing them back to our shores for the first time in 11 years.
Special guest across the tour will be Aotearoa’s undisputed Queen of Hip Hop, Soul and R&B LADI6, performing her range of hits from “Diamonds”, “Like Water” and “Walk Right Up”. With a catalogue that marks a woman who is only comfortable taking risks, the inspiring live show that LADI6 brings is no exception to this rule. Local support for each show to be announced.
