Anne Walsh has been a member of the Board since 2016, and is on the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Following on from her global business experience in growing businesses and brand portfolios for market leading consumer packaged goods companies, Anne qualified in 2015 as a Chartered Director with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Anne is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Wool Equities Limited and a Vestry member for St Matthew in the City.
In 2016, Anne joined The Trusts Arena Auckland Board to utilise her experience with strategic planning, hospitality, event development, digital and social reach for their changing consumer base.
From 2016-2023, Anne has been involved in Mentoring young Entrepreneurs with Velocity Innovation and the MBA programme with Auckland University, and previously; Lightning LabXX and Venture Up Entrepreneur Programme with AUT and CreativeHQ.
Anne is an active member of ArcAngels, which invests in women entrepreneurs in New Zealand, Global Women and the Institute of Directors New Zealand.
Wayne Caskie joined the Board of Trustees in February 2024, bringing over 25 years of proven leadership in the New Zealand dairy industry. His extensive background in finance, compliance, and commercial operations has equipped him with a hands-on approach to driving strategic change and transformation initiatives.
Wayne has successfully navigated the complexities of high-growth, privately held dairy companies, including overseeing the entity sales due diligence process. He also possesses broad experience within two major global dairy multinationals, allowing him to cultivate valuable insights into industry best practices. Known for his strong capabilities in collaboration, Wayne has a proven track record of partnering with Managing Directors, senior management teams, and professional advisors. His exceptional people leadership and development skills, combined with his negotiation and influencing expertise, position him as a key asset to the Board as it strives to achieve its strategic goals.
Katie Bhreatnach has been a member of the Board since 2021.
An experienced executive leader in the areas of reputation and risk management, customer and stakeholder relations and people and transformation, with broad-based executive experience including in an ASX100, Fortune 500, start-up and an SOE, in sectors as diverse as food/FMCG, aviation and telecommunications.
Katie is a values-based people leader, and has a deep commitment to diversity, culture and engagement. She has a particular passion for driving a strong and inclusive culture and have a track record of building and leading high performing engaged teams.
Katie has a global perspective gleaned from experience working and studying overseas, coupled with a passion and drive for a strong, successful and sustainable Aotearoa and a desire to ensure her cultural background and heritage are a strong part of her forward journey (and that of her children).
Outside of mahi, for Katie, it is about whānau, being active, and loyal support of the Blues.
James Bundy has been a member of the Board since 2017.
Following on from achievements across the Surveying industry, including establishing the first RICS Regulated Chartered Surveying practice in New Zealand, James is now contributing to several boards as an Independent Company Director, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors global professional assessments team, and providing technical advisory support for the Joint Accreditation Scheme of Australia and New Zealand.
James holds specialist technical knowledge in landlord and tenant law, leasing, leasehold reinstatement practice, defect analysis, technical due diligence, insurance claims, project management, property portfolio management and New Zealand Building Codes and Standards.
Craig Mayo was appointed to the Board December 2023.
Craig has worked in senior and executive leadership roles for over half of his career and has served on a number of boards as an executive, non-executive director and, trustee. His background is diverse having worked within Property, Construction and Healthcare.
Craig has led change transformation in a large business context and has served on board subcommittees for: audit and risk, property and health and safety. He has a structured approach and clear understanding of the difference between governance and management, operational responsibility vs. oversight.
Craig is experienced within both a commercial and charitable context and has a strong affinity with the purpose and function of Trusts Arena.

Kenneth Aiolupotea joined the Board in 2024.
Kenneth is an open minded and a strong advocate for being agile or innovative to optimise opportunities. He is values-driven, while also being diligent and pragmatic. Kenneth aims to be clear where possible about agreed priorities, specific factors we can control or influence, the level of risk involved and any trade-offs or options available. Kenneth also likes to understand the short, medium and long term consequences of decisions and how we will communicate back to the stakeholders impacted to maintain trust.
Kenneth is proud of his Pasifika identity and carries his Samoan heritage with him. He also understands the importance of our special relationship with Māori, under Te Tiriti o Waitangi which is always an important consideration in making holistic and sustainable decisions.
