Alien Ant Farm (USA)
In 1995, while the rest of America was consumed with O.J. Simpson and the white Bronco, four young, creative musicians were fusing their ambitions and talents together to form the rock band Alien Ant Farm. Word of the band began to saturate the underground music scene as early as 1996, when they released their first demo and became instantly known for their energetic live shows and pulsing rock beat. Taking their name from the popular sci-fi trope of aliens having created humanity for their own amusement, the band became internationally famous in 2001 for two smash hits: “Movies” and “Smooth Criminal” (a spirited rock cover of the Michael Jackson tune)..
Drowning Pool (USA)
Joining Alien Ant Farm are legendary rockers from Dallas USA, DROWNING POOL who last toured in New Zealand in 2016.
Drowning Pool, a name etched in the score of modern rock history, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound, synonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude, returns to captivate audiences once again.Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction.
